Robot Arm [3D Printer Utilization for Digital Casting]

Utilizing lost-wax technology that handles various materials. Leave the prototypes aimed at weight reduction to us!

By reducing weight, we can achieve precision in robot control. In response to customer requests to prototype with topology shapes, we proposed a digital casting solution that does not require molds and can accommodate orders starting from just one piece. Industry: Industrial Robots Material: AC4C 【What is Digital Cast?】 When considering costs and delivery times, traditional casting methods that involve mold production for mass production are not viable options. Therefore, we propose mold-free digital casting with the catchphrase "Just make it from one piece if needed!" With no need for molds and zero mold costs, we have a delivery record of as short as one week, and we can custom-make cast products starting from just one piece. Since the original shape is 3D printed, we can accommodate complex shapes and hollow products that cannot be manufactured with molds. This method is adopted in numerous industries, including aerospace, shipping, automotive, precision machinery, industrial equipment, medical, and construction, and we cater to metal parts manufacturing requests from both corporate and individual customers.

[AM Utilization Case] Optimization Design for Lightweighting Arm Blocks

The goal is to achieve stable operation of the work and cost reduction for inventory management through weight reduction!

We would like to introduce a case study where additive manufacturing (AM) was utilized for optimized design aimed at reducing the weight of arm blocks. The product in question is a robotic arm, with goals including "improving the stability of work operations and safety through weight reduction" and "reducing costs for processing arrangements and inventory management." As a result, through optimized design using 3D design and generative design, as well as the application of additive manufacturing, we achieved approximately a 75% reduction in weight compared to conventional products, improved design aesthetics, and accelerated the process from design to product completion. 【Case Overview】 ■Challenges - Improving the stability of work operations and safety through weight reduction: Utilization of optimized design - Reducing costs for processing arrangements and inventory management: Utilization of AM ■Results - Approximately 75% reduction in weight and improved design aesthetics compared to conventional products - Accelerated process from design to product completion - Reduction in manufacturing and management costs *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

What is the structure of industrial robots? A thorough explanation of how robotic arms move.

Explanation of the movements of industrial robots and their internal components!

Humans and robots have a commonality. Although mechanical robots and humans may seem like distant entities, their structures of bones and joints are actually the same. Industrial robots, primarily composed of robotic arms, are fundamentally structured with a combination of links (bones) and joints (joints). In terms of the human body, the freely bending parts like elbows and shoulders are the joints, while the bones connecting them are the links. The principle of moving the joints to transmit force through the links is the same for both humans and robots. *For more detailed information, please refer to the related catalog. Feel free to contact us for further inquiries.*
